New Viscount Opera 400 Installed at the Xi’an Concert Hall

We are very happy and proud that one of our organs has been installed in a concert hall of such artistic and cultural prestige.

The Xi’an Concert Hall, inaugurated in 2007 in the heart of the historic capital of the Qin and Tang dynasties, is today one of the leading musical centers in western China. The main hall, designed according to the classic “shoebox” model. The building’s acoustics bear the signature of Harold Marshall, winner of the Sabine Award and one of the world’s most influential designers in this field.

In such a well-defined acoustic environment, the Viscount Opera 400 finds its natural home thanks to its versatility: a three-manual digital organ with a 32-note pedalboard, featuring 55 organ stops plus 8 orchestral voices.

This combination of sound power, digital stop management, and acoustic adaptability makes the Opera 400 an instrument capable of meeting the demands of a multifunctional venue like the Xi’an Concert Hall, whether for symphonic performances, recitals, or multimedia productions.
