Dariia Lytvishko

Dariia Lytvishko was born in 1995 in Lutsk, western Ukraine, where she began studying piano at the age of three, later adding organ, singing, and choir conducting. She continued her musical training at the Volyn State College of Culture and Arts in Lutsk, specializing in piano and music theory. She then moved to Germany, where she completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in sacred music at the University of Church Music in Herford-Witten, graduating in 2022.

Thanks to her brilliant technique and virtuoso programs, she quickly established herself as one of the most sought-after organists of her generation, performing around forty concerts a year. Her schedule has taken her to nearly twenty countries, playing in prestigious venues such as Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s and Southwark Cathedral in London, the Pantheon in Rome, Saint-Étienne Cathedral in France, and important churches in Germany, Belgium, Canada, Scandinavia, and Monaco. After several years in Germany, she is now active throughout Europe and resides in Vienna, where she performs extensively in concerts and liturgical services. In 2025, she released her debut album, Toccatas and Meditations, with Naxos, focusing in particular on the great French organ tradition.

Alongside her solo career, Lytvishko has worked as a parish organist, choir director, and artist in residence, including a period at the De Principaal residence in Ghent and positions at the Emmaus parish and the Marienkirche in Herford. Since 2022, she has put her art at the service of humanitarian aid, giving over forty benefit concerts for Ukraine and raising more than €60,000 in support of charitable projects. An important part of her work is also outreach: through a large following on social media such as Instagram and TikTok, she works to bring new audiences to the organ, presenting it as a modern, powerful, and surprisingly versatile instrument.
