DANTE ®

The Dante Card is an optional integration card developed by the Viscount R&D department using Audinate®’s Pro Audio protocol: Dante®.

DANTE ® (acronym for Digital Audio Network Through Ethernet) is a network protocol for the digital, multi-channel distribution of audio signals over Ethernet, without the complexity and limitations of other common connectivity solutions. It is easy to configure and manage because devices (with DANTE ® technology) recognise each other and share their data (number of input and output channels, supported sample rate and bit depth, etc.).

Applications

You can manage 32 digital outputs over an Ethernet cable. The DANTE ® enabled card is installed as an alternative to the DAC module and provides an additional 31-band EQ for each output channel, in addition to the standard 5-band EQ! A simple network cable can be used to run from the organ to a network switch and then into the amplifiers. You can drive 4 independent speakers from a single amplifier. Go further with less cabling and more audio quality!
