The VS10 Sub is VOICE SYSTEMS’ latest sub-woofer - designed for portable and fixed amplification systems in a variety of situations. Thanks to the built-in 250 W (IHF) amplifier and the use of strong yet lightweight materials – the VS10 Sub is extremely flexible. When the VS10 SUB is combined with other Voice Systems speakers, you get a simple and easy-to-move speaker which is highly functional in almost any situation – from an intimate piano-bar to environments of all sizes.
The exterior cabinet is made of high quality birch wood, with black scratch-resistant paint. On the front side, a metal grille protects the loudspeaker. This robust and compact design ensures long-term durability – even when used in the most demanding situations.
The VS10 Sub uses a carefully selected loudspeaker built by VOICE SYSTEMS. This loudspeaker is engineered to provide a constant linear response even at high volume, ensuring optimal sound pressure and an extremely clean sound. The VS10 Sub has a high power 10 " bass-reflex configuration, while the 250 W (IHF) amplifier has an anticlipping circuit. Thanks to a cross-over filter, you can adjust the outputs connected to additional speakers. In this way you can send signals processed by the filter and filtered signals at frequencies below 150 Hz. This trick would be useful if the connected speakers aren’t able to support lower frequencies. In contrast, using speakers that treat signals at frequencies lower than 150 Hz, you can use the VS10 Sub as an EXTENDED SUBWOOFER, expanding the sonic impact of the bass. This allows you to integrate the Sub VS10 with all the other Voice Systems speakers, creating highly efficient systems and an extended response to the lower frequencies(40 Hz).
The interface panel is conveniently located on the back of the speaker with the following connections:
- XLR OUTPUT LEFT/RIGHT: Balanced XLR and Jack sockets.
- XLR INPUT LEFT/RIGHT: Jacks and XLR balanced input.
- OUTPUT XOVER – FLAT: button to enable crossover.
- LEVEL: knob to adjust the level of the input signal.
- PHASE 0° – 180°: using this button, you can reverse the signal’s phases.
- MONO - STEREO: adjusting the operation of the SUB to the source of the signal sent (mono/stereo).
- GND LIFT: mass separator.
- LED LIMIT: Indicates the presence of a signal and the intervention of the compressor level.
- LED ON: This LED displays the power of the sub.
